THE Steele's Bakery New Year's Eve Rodeo and Fireworks is set to be the biggest event yet as it closes out 2017.
Featuring quality local talent, as well as visitors looking for a share of the spoils, a wide array of rodeo events will keep the crowd on the edge of their seats.
The brumby catch begins at 2pm, with rodeo events, including steer rides, barrel races and buckjumps commencing from 4pm.
A fireworks display will be held at the child-friendly time of 8.30pm, letting the little ones enjoy all the excitement, as well as the traditional midnight fireworks for those staying up late.
Entertainment will feature Mik Oberle, who returns to the Warwick Showgrounds after a high-energy performance at the Warwick Rodeo in October, as he combines his unique mix of country, modern and classic songs.
The bar will be open from 2pm for those looking to enjoy a beverage throughout the afternoon and evening.

The Big Dawg
FRESH from blowing away the crowd at the Boxing Day Races, DJ Big Dawg is set to ignite the Criterion Hotel on Sunday night into the early hours of Monday morning.
With his mix of new tunes and timeless bangers, you won't be able to control yourself on the dance floor when Big Dawg is on the decks.
The theme for the night is The Living Dead, so patrons are encouraged to don their best face paint and costumes, and get into the spirit of the night.
Prizes will be on offer for best dressed.

Dogs awaken
THEY might be known as the Sleeping Dogs, but there will be no rest on Sunday evening, as they prepare to rock Warwick into the new year.
The Sleeping Dogs will bring their high-energy style to the Warwick RSL when they perform in the main bar at the popular venue.
The local band has graced the RSL for the past few years for New Year's celebrations, and has been brought back by popular demand.

Allora spectacular
FAMILY fun is on the cards as the best little town on the Downs has its New Year's bash.
From 6pm, the whole crew will be able to enjoy the last day of 2017, which is highlighted by a fireworks display at 8.30pm.
Snow cones, fairy floss and ice cream are available to cure the sweet tooth, as well as children's games and a jumping castle for the young ones.
Entertainment will be on course throughout the night with Butch Collier, and a barbecue and bar for the big kids.
The announcement of the Miss 2018 Showgirl will also take place.
