LONG, wide aisles lined with delicious produce, shiny floors and the smell of freshly-baked bread is what you can expect when you step into Warwick Coles for the first time next week.

Only a few days out from the grand opening, the store is already pumping and shelves are filling up with amazing produce.

Seventy-two workers from around the region are enjoying having the store all to themselves before it opens to the public.

They are hard at work stocking up products and polishing cabinets to make the store look spic and span for the big day.

You'll have to wait another week to see it for yourself, but satiate your curiosity now with our exclusive video walk-through of the town's new supermarket.

The store features a state-of-the-art in-house bakery and butchery, wide supermarket aisles full of variety and loads of fridges bursting with the best brands.

Coles Warwick store manager Michael Vipiana said he was excited to see the store come to life.

"I'm really proud of how the whole entire store is looking," he said.

"It's taken a four week turn around to get the store up and running, but it's really coming together."

Mr Vipiana said he was glad to give something back to the community.

"Once the store opens, we're also pleased to be donating food supplies to Warwick West State School for its weekly breakfast club, as well as supporting the Warwick Cowboys, Country Women's Association and the local netball club," he said.

To celebrate the opening of the new store, the team will host a Food Festival from 10am on Saturday, 7 April, allowing shoppers to sample old family recipes from some of Coles' local suppliers, including Rugby Farms and Wickham Farms.

Coles Warwick will officially open to shoppers at 8am on Saturday, 7 April. Free goodie bags will be available to the first 100 customers through the doors.
