THE chill in the air gives us a hint that Jumpers and Jazz in July is getting close, but this morning residents were given their first taste of the much-loved festival.

Banners promoting the festival were put up on Albion St in front of Warwick Art Gallery.

One lane of Albion St was closed so a cherry picker could rise above the road to install the banners.

With the Jumpers and Jazz festival program released two weeks ago and banners now flying high above Warwick, excitement is starting to build for the quirky event.

The festival will run from July 19 to 29, 2018.

A chilly morning is the perfect time to catch a bit of Jumpers and Jazz fever.
