Flippa ball is coming to Warwick

WARWICK kids are going to have another reason to jump into the pool this summer.

The fun new water sport for kids, Flippa Ball is coming to WIRAC.

The sport will be played in the Learn to Swim pool and is safer, fun version of water polo for young kids.

Australian water polo squad member Nic Porter was one hand yesterday for a fun session with WIRAC staff.

"I came out to show the Learn to Swim and aquatic teachers how to teach Flippa Ball to the kids,” he said.

"It's such a fun game and kids will love it and hopefully it'll open them up to the sport of water polo in the future.”

WIRAC will be introducing Flippa Ball to kids on Wednesday, January 10 and 17, from 3pm to 4pm.
