FLOOD WATCH: Condamine River bursts banks
BREAKING: The Condamine River has burst its banks in Warwick with authorities monitoring the situation.
Several roads in the south-eastern part of town have been closed due to localised flooding.
Park Rd is currently closed at Queens Park weir.
As of 5.30pm, the river was at 3.71m.
The water is currently threatening Wallace St bridge, but is steadily falling.
The last time the rising river caused road closures was June 20 this year.
The river peaked at just over 2m on 12pm that Monday.
Parts of the Southern Downs have received record rainfall in the past week, causing the Condamine River to rise.
