Focus on Toowoomba painter at Council Chambers
MANY local residents were fired up over the weekend when they saw a Toowoomba painter parked at the council chambers on Fitzroy St.
However a spokeswoman for Southern Downs Regional Council insists it was "out of council's hands".
"Council hired the local bloke to do the job," she told the Daily News.
"However, sometimes builders and painters have to outsource their work. It just so happens the work was outsourced to a Toowoomba business."
