Foodies' scavenger hunt: are you up for it?

FOR many of us, food is life.

We think about it 80% of the day, can't get enough of the stuff and will go the extra mile to make sure we get the good grub in our gobs.

If you're in the above group and want to give your tastebuds the flavour sensations of a lifetime, here is the ultimate foodie's scavenger hunt through Brisbane.

1.       Chocolate brownie, Dello Mano: Rumour has it Ashton Kutcher once ordered these luxury brownies for his birthday…if they're good enough for him, they're good enough for anyone.

2.       Beef brisket, Gerard's Bistro: The waiter will bring this out as a huge hunk of meat and shred it with two forks, right in front of your eyes. Just try to stop the drooling.

3.       Nutella doughnut, Doughnut Time: They say it's 50% Nutella, and when you take your first bite you'll have no doubt that's true.

4.       Cheeseburger spring rolls, Heya: The best of both worlds.

5.       Cappuccino pop, Queen of Pops: Kick on a stick, they call it. Each coffee pop (like an ice block) has a double ristretto - perfect for getting that caffeine hit in the warmer 11 months of the year.

6.       Dessert degustation, Bacchus: Life's short, eat dessert first. And second. And third. And fourth. And fifth…

7.       Cronuts, Flour and Chocolate: Do yourself a favour and pay a visit. The first to bring the cronut craze to Brisbane, we'd say they've always done them best.

And that's just seven to get you started…. Check out all 63 items on the scavenger hunt HERE
