Four charged after raids uncover drug stash

POLICE uncovered marijuana plants, seeds and leaves as well as syringes and utensils in drug raids at Texas yesterday.

The raids were a co-ordinated effort between police from Texas, Yelarbon, Stanthorpe Criminal Investigation Branch, Wallangarra and Toowoomba Major and Organised Crime Squad.

Four adults from Texas were issued with notices to appear at Inglewood Magistrates Court on June 13, charged with possessing drug utensils, marijuana plants, utensils used for smoking drugs and things used in connection with a crime as well as failing to dispose of syringes.

One boy was dealt with in accordance with the Youth Justice Act for being in possession of marijuana.

Residents are requested to continue assisting police in reporting suspicious activity and are reminded that informants' personal details will always remain confidential.
