Four charges after morning drug raid in Warwick

THREE people were charged with drug related offences after Warwick police raided two different homes on Sunday.

A Warwick man, 37, was charged after police executed a search warrant at 9.25am at a Palmerin St home.

He was charged with one count of possession of dangerous drugs, two counts of possession of drug utensils and one count of failing to properly dispose of needles and syringes.

The 37-year-old will appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on August 22.

At 1.30pm, police went to a Devitt St home and issued a notice to appear to a 40-year-old woman from Warwick on a charge of possession of drug utensils.

At the same address, a 34-year-old man from New South Wales was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug utensils.

He elected to attend a Drug Diversion Program in lieu of a court appearance.

Warwick police also issued three speeding tickets, one ticket for driving an unregistered vehicle and one parking related ticket on Sunday.
