Four Wallabies doubtful of Test success due to injuries

FOUR Wallabies remain doubtful for the first Test of the spring tour against France on Sunday morning.

As the squad flew out to Europe, coach Robbie Deans was waiting on medical updates on the fitness of second-row Sitaleki Timani, flanker David Pocock, hooker Stephen Moore and winger Digby Ioane.

Timani is the only one of the four who played in the Test against the All Blacks in Brisbane last month.

He was replaced by Kane Douglas early in that game after feeling a tightness in his lower back.

Ioane injured his knee against Argentina in Rosario, Moore strained a hamstring in training ahead of the Springboks match in Pretoria, while Pocock is coming back from a long-term knee injury.
