Fourth Granite Belt house burns.

YET another house burnt down in the Stanthorpe area last night, bringing the total number of house fires on the Granite Belt this season to four.

The fire brigade were called to the Spring Creek Rd house at Greenlands at 11.58pm.

It is a believed a young family were home at the time but everyone made it out unharmed.

The fire started in the lounge room of the single story brick home, but investigations into the cause were ongoing this morning.
