Frank Ocean to rock Splendour's 2013 housewarming party

GRAMMY Award-winner Frank Ocean will headline this year's Splendour in the Grass music festival.

Joining the RnB singer songwriter are international headliners Mumford & Sons, The National and TV on the Radio in their only Australian shows.

Electro duo Empire of the Sun leads the 2013 bill's Australian contingent, which also includes a solo show by former Powderfinger front man Bernard Fanning, The Presets, Flume and Birds of Tokyo.

Triple J breakfast radio hosts Tom and Alex officially unveiled 77 acts this morning, including a so-called "mystery band" to be announced in the coming weeks.

The 2013 event will be held from July 26 to 28 at the festival's new permanent home at the North Byron Parklands.

The long-planned 660-acre site is located at Yelgun, 20 minutes north of Byron Bay.

General public tickets go on sale on Thursday May 2 AEST at 9am through Moshtix.
