Makeover in time for new year

SIX weeks of renovations have paid off for clients and staff at Graeme Collins Automotive, who are now enjoying a smarter showroom - equipped with a children's corner and coffee lounge.

Owner David Cassels said the renovations were completed by local company MBC Constructions, and partly funded by Mitsubishi.

"Mitsubishi requires dealers to do an upgrade by the end of 2012," he said.

"The dealers at the top of their division in teams largely of customer service, and to an extent sales, are funded 50-50 from the car company.

"We're pretty excited to have it completed a year before the date. It means we're one of the first to have it done."

The main showroom has been retiled and repainted, with a self-serving espresso machine added to the southern end.

Tables and chairs have been added for customers to enjoy their coffee, and have been positioned cleverly to enjoy the view over Warwick.

All other furniture inside the offices has also been replaced. Parents will be glad to hear of the addition of a kid's games room, which includes two arcade games, along with other puzzles and toys.

Mr Cassels said he was very happy with the end result.

"Having the games room takes away some of the stress for the parents," he said.

"That, along with the coffee lounge have been very popular. People seem to be impressed with it."
