Friday night show to suit all ages

CHILDHOOD memories of the Warwick Show are largely made of those that involve sitting on a picnic blanket, with a cup of hot chips in hand as the sky grows dark.

There was never a dull moment as animals, BMX bikes, firefighters and cars with smoke billowing from their engines took centre stage, and this year's night program is no exception.

Night ring organiser Greg Carey said this year's program was based around family fun.

"Friday is going to be action-packed with events and it will feature something for all ages," Mr Carey said.

"The kids have a chance to win a BMX bike donated by Redback Cycles and can also compete in the mutton busters section."

Entry to the mutton busters is restricted to those 25kg and under and helmets will be provided.

Other attractions are a monster truck, firefighter displays, BMX and dirt bike demos, demolition derby and of course, fireworks.

Friday's night arena events program kicks off at 5.30pm and kids will be admitted free if accompanied by an adult.
