Frosty mornings return after weekend reprieve
THE cool, frosty mornings are set to continue for another couple of days, according to Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Bryan Rolstone.
Mr Rolstone said after a couple of slightly warmer days at the weekend, residents could expect another chilly week.
"The dry, cool south-westerly stream, which disappeared for a couple of days over the weekend, will return and the minimum temperatures will drop again," Mr Rolstone said.
"We expect the minimum temperature to be 2 degrees on Monday morning, zero on Tuesday and minus 1 on Wednesday.
"The dry air, which cools faster and therefore makes it colder, will return and that's the second reason why the temperature will drop (along with the south-westerly breeze)."
Mr Rolstone said it was expected to warm up again slightly towards the end of the week.
