Fun in full bloom at Allora State School's Spring Fair

SPRING is in the air and the Allora State School community has sprung into action ready to host its annual fair.

"This event is a great way for the whole community to welcome in the new season and to showcase our great school," P&C president Jeff Lack said.

"We have built upon the spring fair for over five years now and each year it seems bigger and better."

Mr Lacks said crowds could expect plenty of stalls, lots of goodies to eat and a great day out for the family.

A barbecue will operate all day, as well as a morning and afternoon tea stall for those who just want to sit and take in the carnival atmosphere.

"There will be fun and games galore as well as loads of market stalls including the very popular Mr Wilbrink's show bags," he said.

At 1pm a highlight of the day for children will undoubtedly be the Bonza Bike giveaway where one lucky child will take home a new bike to the value of $500.

The P&C extends a warm invitation to the wider community to come along and enjoy the 2015 Spring Fair at the Allora School grounds from 10am to 3pm tomorrow.
