THE Great Australian Bites returned to Palmerin Street last night, with residents eager to get involved with the festivities.

Close to 4,000 people were happy to get involved in the action, with local restaurants Bluebird Smokehouse, Belle Vue Cafe, and others serving up their specialties.

Local artists took to the stage ensuring crowds were entertained, while a jumping castle kept the children busy throughout the night.
