GALLERY: Jumpers and Jazz starts on a high note

IT IS only the first day of Jumpers and Jazz and already visitors have had a dose of groovy jazz tunes in the streets and mind-blowing art exhibits.

Months of hard work by Warwick artists is finally on display as the trees which line the main streets of Warwick are covered in tree jumpers of all shapes, sizes and concepts.

The Kalamunda Youth Swing Band started off the musical celebrations in town, performing a variety of songs in front of the town hall for visitors and residents.

In the Warwick Art Gallery the Yarntopia team unveiled their 'Off the Grid' exhibit, a yarn-bomb display with rural charm.

Over at Cafe Jacqui's the Warwick Spinners and Weavers were hard at work with their spinning wheels and offered travellers a chance to buy their hand-made goods.
