THE stands were packed with onlookers for the Warwick and District Junior Rugby League Finals Series today.

Hosted by Eastern Suburbs Junior Rugby League Club at St Marks Sports Grounds, the semi finals were played out between Tenterfield, Goondiwindi, Collegians, MIT Jets, Stanthorpe and the Wattles.

In league tag minor, the Collegians beat the MIT Jets 28-6 while Tenterfield were victorious in the under 12 major overcoming the Collegians 12-6.

Two points separated Goondiwindi (Blue) from the MIT Jets in the under 14 major, with Goondiwindi (Blue) coming out on top 30-28.

The Wattles won convincingly over Goondiwindi in under 12 minor with a final score of 34-10.

Two points again separated the teams in under 14 minor with Goondiwindi (Maroon) beating the Collegians (Red) 28-26.

Stanthorpe beat the Wattles in under 16 minor 22-20 and Goondiwindi came out on top against the Collegians (Blue) in under 16 major with a final margin of 46-22.

Tenterfield won on a forfeit against Goondiwindi in league tag major.
