POLICE are looking for the owners of thousands of dollars worth of tools and machinery uncovered at Elbow Valley.

They claim the equipment, worth more than $30,000, was stolen and are now appealing for information that will help locate those who own the tools and other possible theft victims.

Two people have been charged following the police investigation, which lead to a search warrant being executed at a rural property on July 18.

A 29-year-old man and 22-year-old woman were charged with multiple charges including one count each of stealing and possessing dangerous drugs.

The pair are scheduled to appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on August 14.

Anyone who believes they may have information relating to the ownership of the alleged stolen property should phone Policelink on 131 444.
