Game on as show hits town

THE Stanthorpe Show may not officially kick off until Friday but the grounds were already buzzing with excitement as sideshow alley filled with rides and games yesterday.

With one of the biggest sideshow alleys in the state and fine weather forecast for the weekend, this is one event not too be missed.

Gates open at 6am on Friday and Saturday, with tickets available at the gate.

Adults admission costs $10, pensioners $6, children 17years and under $3 and cars cost $2.

There will be fireworks at 7pm on Friday, with music until late at the Main Bar and Wine Pavilion and a showcase of young local musicians at the Tea Rooms from 5pm until 10pm.

The action kicks off at 5am on Sunday with free entry all day.
