Garden paradise

ST MARY'S Hall will be transformed into a gardener's delight tomorrow, as the long-running Gardening Extravaganza returns for another year.

The Warwick Horticultural Society event has been running for more than 20 years and features nurseries from across the region.

Visitors will be able to purchase new plants for their gardens from an extensive range of products, gain expert advice on what to grow when and gain insight into new and exciting products on the market.

Secretary Margot Cory said gardeners should not be deterred by the cooler temperatures.

"This is the time to get planting and to start thinking about what you want in for spring," she said.

The Gardening Extravaganza runs from 10am to 5pm tomorrow and 8am to 4pm on Thursday.

Entry is $3 and children are free.
