Garlic bread thieves snatch dinner from delivery boy's hands

A PIZZA delivery went awry when two thieves snatched two pizzas and garlic bread straight from the hands of a delivery boy on a Warwick street.

Warwick Senior Constable Gavin McLucas said a phone order was made for the meal and when the delivery boy arrived at the address on Percy St, he was flagged down outside a home by a man and woman.

The man reportedly grabbed the pizza and garlic bread before running away with the woman about 8pm on Wednesday.

Snr-Constable McLucas said a stealing complaint had been made and police were investigating.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
