Gearing up for green extravaganza

FOR 22 years Rose City gardening gurus and enthusiasts have gathered to talk all things green in June.

Enchanted Garden Nursery owner Claire Cunningham has displayed a selection of her products at Warwick Horticultural Society’s Gardening Extravaganza since it began.

“We certainly are there to help and advise on any gardening needs the public may have,” Mrs Cunningham said.

She said it was a great place to see all of the different products available.

“I think it would be good to have a big crowd there to be apart of the extravaganza,” she said.

“The horticultural society works very hard to put on a great event and it would be good if it was well patronised by the locals.”

Warwick Horticultural Society president Graham Gillam said there would be plenty of products and information to address everyone’s gardening needs.

A number of garden nurseries will have displays, as will McCracken’s Water Services with a display on being water wise.

“Talk to the nursery representatives and learn about what they can grow here and about what is available ... there is always something new you can learn,” Mr Gillam said.
