Germans have last laugh
THE Australian Kookaburras have seen their dreams of gold be dashed away after losing 4-2 to Germany in the semi-finals at the London Olympics.
The Australians at one point lead 2-1 in the second half but a determined German outfit would not be denied, scoring the last three goals to score a famous victory.
Australia will now play the loser of the Netherlands and Great Britain in the bronze medal match.
