Get in now for water rates discount
RATEPAYERS in the Southern Downs region are reminded that the deadline to receive the discount on payment of your water rates is 5pm on Friday November 16.
"We do remind people, particularly those paying by BPay, to make sure their payment is received by Council by 5pm on the due date," CEO Andrew Roach said.
"Many financial institutions require a couple of days to process payments and send them to council.
"Only people who have paid all rates and charges in full by the due date will be eligible for the 10 percent discount."
