Get LinkedIn with Warwick

IMAGINE being able to establish links within the community and business circles of Warwick with the touch of button.

For businesses in the Rose City it's now that easy, and Brendan Goleby from the Business Network of Warwick (BNoW) is encouraging locals to get on board and connect with LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is a free professional network and mobile application, with allows people from across the globe to network and connect online.

Mr Goleby, who is the business development manager for Black Auto Group and a co-founder of BNoW, said LinkedIn was a great way to keep in touch, and attract new clients.

"I have been on LinkedIn since 2011, but only started using it to its potential since May 2014," he said.

"LinkedIn is a great tool for businesses to be more accessible and contactable.

"It's a great way to promote your business - you can start up a community page and link it to a Facebook page."

Mr Goleby created the highly successful Toowoomba Queensland Community LinkedIn Group, which has attracted 1500 members in just months and draws an average of 100 people to a free monthly networking event.

It was this growth that inspired Mr Goleby to join forces with local businesswomen Julia Keogh and Corrinne Butler to create BNoW, which has its own LinkedIn group.

The BNoW group is planning on running free LinkedIn Training sessions in Warwick, if you are interested email businessnetworkofwarwick@gmail.com.
