State Government boosts vaccine laws to protect children

THE Queensland Government has backed new laws to protect young and vulnerable residents from preventable diseases.

Health Minister Cameron Dick said Parliament supported new laws to allow childcare centres to exclude children who are not fully immunised against vaccine-preventable diseases from January 1, 2016.
