Get set for sizzling weather

WARWICK residents would be wise to find a cool spot and call it home for the next few days.

Scorching temperatures are set to hit the Rose City over coming days, with the mercury predicted to rise to a sweltering 34 degrees tomorrow.

Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Michelle Berry said the hot weather was expected to stick around for most of the coming week.

The only chance of a minor reprieve is the possibility of isolated showers this afternoon, in a prelude to tomorrow's searing temps.

Tomorrow will be fine with northerly winds expected, but even the mornings are set to be sizzling, with temperatures not expected to fall below 16 degrees.

The slight chance of late showers will return on Thursday but it is expected to clear again Friday, when temperatures could rise to around 30 degrees again for the end of the week.
