Getting your shots up in Warwick

BASKETBALL is a sport many have loved at one stage in their life.

Whether it was trying to leap across the length of the garage to emulate Michael Jordan or shooting a three like Shane 'The Hammer' Heal, basketball has been ingrained in the Australian culture.

One of the best things about the sport is you simply need a ball, a hoop and you're good to go.

Not everyone has a backyard suitable for having a shoot-around, which is why we have listed the venues you can shoot hoops at in town.

QUEENS PARK

The best free full-court venue in Warwick.

From the scenic location overlooking the Condamine River and skate park through to its old-school feel, it's tough to top this location.

Chances are there will be others here, so you can easily have a pick-up game.

WIRAC

For a fee of $4.20 for adults and $3.60 for concession, you can have access to the indoor venue.

You'll never have to worry about the outside elements and you can experience the genuine nature of playing on a real court.

PENNANT PARK

One of the more hidden gems in Fairway Dr, Warwick, this quad court can be tricky to find but you'll keep coming back once you do.

A nice court to get up plenty of shots and perfect your stroke.
