Girl, 5, flown to hospital after fall from horse
RACQ CareFlight Rescue has airlifted a five-year-old girl who fell off a horse on the Sunshine Coast.
The girl had been riding the horse at a property in the Noosa hinterland when it bolted unexpectedly, causing her to fall to the ground on Sunday about 11am.
The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ CareFlight flew to the scene where its flight doctor and intensive care flight paramedic assessed the girl.
She was flown to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition.
