Girl, 5, taken to hospital after dog bite

A GIRL has been taken to hospital after being bitten by a dog.

The five-year-old girl was transported from Mount Coolum to Nambour hospital just after 2pm, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed.

The youngster is understood to have suffered minor injuries.
