Girls have fun in the Pentath-Run

THE TIME has come to lace up the sneakers and load up on carbohydrates because the first day of the Warwick Pentath-Run kicks off today.

If you're anything like these girls were last year, you'll also be donning some fluoro zinc and stripy socks.

Amelia Starasts will again plaster herself in colourful clothes and hit the 5km race this afternoon.

"The best part about it last year was dressing up and crossing the line skipping and everyone cheering for us," Amelia said.

Today, the girls are at it again with plans to top last year's costumes.
