Goal sneak makes it 13 in a fortnight for the Redbacks
AUSSIE RULES: Kris Millard made it 13 goals in two games as the Warwick Redbacks men beat Chinchilla 19.9. (123) to 13.7. (85) on Saturday.
Travelling west did not dampen the enthusiasm of a Warwick team which is on top of the table after the first five weeks of the season.
Kris Millard landed seven goals on top of his six last week and is early favourite for the leading goalscorer award in division 2 in AFLDD fixtures.
Cameron Peterson kicked four goals, Jack Fletcher and Nick Donges three each and Kai Best two.
The six best were Andrew Bardsley, Kris Millard, Bindi Sailor, Andrew Politch, Brent Walker and Shannon Cameron.
The Demonic Redbacks women's team went down to Dalby 34. 15. (219) to 4. 2. (26).
After not scoring last weekend, the combined Lockyer Valley/Warwick team Demonic Redbacks showed a lot of improvement.
"Our girls played awesome even though the score didn't reflect it,” club official Lisa Elliott said.
Goalkickers were Melinda Drummond with two, Ellie Walker and Sharni Roy.
The top six for Demonic Redbacks were Amber Schroen, Roy, Naomi Elliott, Melinda Drummond, Natasha Lay and Ellie Walker.
The U10, U12 and U14 junior teams played in Dalby on Saturday with the U12 and U14 playing well but going down on the day.
