Golf day earns $3000 for Endeavour
DAWN Scrymgeour has estimated the Warwick Endeavour Support Group will make $3000 out of its annual appeal and golf day.
The group treasurer said the appeal was a bit more successful this year as all of the money would help re-build Endeavour facilities damaged in the floods.
“Some of the residentials in Toowoomba and Ipswich had water damage and there was damage to business service centres,” Scrymgeour said.
“In other years, the money has been spent locally to provide for the business service centre in the Warwick Industrial Estate and the residential at Glennie Heights.”
One hundred golfers took part in the annual charity day at the Warwick Golf Club.
Scrymgeour said the committee was grateful for the wonderful support from sponsors and the Warwick Golf Club on Sunday when George Campbell's team won the nett.
