Goondiwindi residents warned of increased theft
RESIDENTS in Goondiwindi are being advised to lock up and keep an eye out in the wake of several thefts in the region.
On Monday night a home in Paul Bradley Dr was broken into and several items were stolen.
A car was stolen during a break-and-enter at a residence on Kildonan Rd between 7pm Monday night and 7am yesterday.
The offenders are said to have found keys inside the residence to steal the 2002 Ford Courier ute.Goondiwindi police said the incidents appeared to be related.
Talwood police are investigating a break-in at the Toobeah shop on Sunday night in which a small amount of money was taken from the till.
The theft is believed to be linked to a vehicle break-in at the Toobeah pub on the same day.
Police encouraged residents to ensure the properties and vehicles were secured.
