Got a mo to help a worthy cause?
RELAY for Life is bringing out the wild and wacky in everyone this week, as purple fever sweeps across the Rose City.
Relayers Carla Thornton and Anne Kane from the team Anne's Assassins are sporting eccentric looks this week as they fund-raise for Saturday's Warwick Relay for Life.
Carla, who has been rocking the moustache look since Monday, said there were a number of reasons she was getting involved.
"My grandfather is in his ninth month of recovery - he used to tickle me with the whiskers in his beard," she said.
"My husband also supports Movember."
Carla has two collection tins at the WIRAC reception for those wishing to donate to her moustache wearing cause for Relay for Life.
Team captain Anne Kane has gone back to her Irish roots, dying her hair to match the colours of the country's flag.
"I said I'd do it from the very beginning," she said.
"I am going to shave it off on the weekend of the relay."
There is currently an auction running on the Anne's Assassins Facebook page, with the winner to shave Anne's head at Relay for Life.
"We really want to thank everybody for supporting us," Anne said
"Our fundraising target was $5000 and we've raised $6500.
"It's about the money - the quicker we get a cure, the sooner everyone will be happy."
Relay for Life kicks off from 2pm on Saturday afternoon at the Reddies Oval and will run for 18 hours.
