Grand opening freebies at Rose City shop today

A LITTLE over a month after opening in Rose City Shoppingworld, Subway will celebrate the occasion today with a grand opening sale.

Warwick's second Subway store opened on December 8 in the centre and store manager Vivek Mehta said it was time to thank the community for their support.

"Warwick has been fantastic to us," he said.

"Everyone has been so welcoming and pleased to see us in Rose City, so it's time to give something back."

Today from 8am to 7.30pm, customers will be able to buy one and get one free.

Purchase a six-inch or footlong sub, a salad or a wrap and a drink and receive the same meal free, to equal or lesser value.

This offer is only available at the Rose City Shoppingworld shop.

"We chose to do it on Thursday with the extended trading hours," Mr Mehta said.

"It's always a big day in the centre and we wanted to reward as many people as possible.

"As well as that we have a breakfast promo, only $5.95 for a footlong breaky sub, but that will be available every day."

Mr Mehta said he was happy with the new store.

"We've been very busy since we opened and it's great to be a part of the redevelopment," he said.

"We're looking forward to Coles and all the other stores opening and the completion of the centre.

"It's a very exciting time for Warwick."
