Granite Belt smashed by golf ball sized hail

HAIL the size of golf balls has smashed parts of the Granite Belt this afternoon.

There have been widespread reports of hail from marble to golf ball sized across the Granite Belt.

The hail hammered onto buildings and cars in the main street of Stanthorpe, smashing into tiny shards as it hit the ground.
