Grass fire burning just off the New England Highway
FIRE fighters are on scene of a grass fire on Fletcher Rd, Fletcher, just off the New England Highway south of Stanthorpe.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the fire was reported at 1.19pm today.
"The grass fire is 60 metres by 30 metres,” she said.
"There are no buildings under threat.”
Two urban QFES units from Stanthorpe and a rural unit from Glen Aplin are on scene.
