Grass fire threatens properties

A large grass fire is currently burning at a property at Connolly Dam Rd, about 20km south of Warwick, with fears wind could redirect the blaze towards neighbouring properties.

Queensland Fire and Rescue crews were called to the scene just after midday and are still working to contain the fire.

Rural fire crews and police have been requested to attend the scene and sections of Connolly Dam may now be closed to traffic.

Firefighters are working to control the fire, which is feared may threaten several structures if it were to change direction.
