Grassfires burning near Queen Mary Falls

UPDATE: FIRE crews have finished at the scene of two small grassfires burning near Queen Mary Falls.
The fires were reported on a Spring Creek Rd property earlier this afternoon.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said crews inspected the fire and advised the landowner to get a permit in the future.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said two small grassfires were burning in the area.
The fires were reported on Spring Creek Rd shortly after 3.30pm.
