Half a million dollars in cannabis seized in Coast drug raid
SUNSHINE Coast police have seized a major marijuana crop from a Woombye property with a potential street value of $500,000.
The half a million dollar haul was seized this morning and police are now in the process of destroying the crops.
The property owner told police he had no idea the two-metre marijuana plants were growing at the back of his land.
Investigations are continuing.
No one has yet been charged.
