RUGBY LEAGUE: International rugby league winger Michael Hancock headed a group of 17 who were selected in the Stanthorpe Gremlins Team of the Century on Saturday night at the Stanthorpe Civic Centre.
More than 300 patrons were at the 100th anniversary dinner on Saturday night.
Twice during its 100 years, Stanthorpe had its own competition but at other times, they played in the Toowoomba Rugby League and Border Rugby League.
The team of the century was named in alphabetical order and was 17 in total. The selectors said all 17 were equal and they did not split up the team and bench.
