LURE COURSING: One of the biggest events of the year for the Warwick Lure Coursing Club will be held at Henry Joppich Park on Sunday.

Registrations for the Warwick Triple Challenge are from 8am with the first dogs on the course at 9am.

The top five dogs from the first and second runs on Sunday will qualify for the final but will have to be vetted before the final.

Club president Anne Freebairn said Chris Reardon from Warwick Veterinary Clinic had volunteered his services to vet the dogs on the day.

The cost per dog is $5 for members and $6 for non-members.

Handlers and their dogs from as far away as Brisbane and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts are expected to compete.

Prospective new members are welcome to bring dogs, which must be on a leash.

Handlers must wear covered footwear.

For more information phone Freebairn on 54930408.
