Harlequins to face Saints
HARLEQUINS ladies will take on Saints in the knockout semi-final on Saturday after defeating a young Corinthians team.
The scores were locked nil-all at half time, with Corinthians having plenty of ball but unable to find the net.
In the second half Deb Rhodes decided it was time to take control of the game and scored from a penalty goal and Harlequins lifted. Rhodes scored again, as well Jess O'Brien and Beth McNamara.
Harlequins will welcome back Emma Eastwell, who will bolster their defence for the must-win clash.
Saints ladies are struggling, losing the past four games with their strong, experienced players taking turns on the sidelines with injuries.
With the players still nursing injuries, they have been told to wrap themselves in cotton wool before Saturday's game which will determine which side plays Wyverns in the grand final.
Wyverns ladies will have the week off after securing the minor premiership.
In the men's comp Corinthians have the week off and will face Harlequins or Wyverns in the grand final.
Harlequins went down to Corinthians 2-9 on the weekend, with Rob Farrell scoring both the Bears' goals.
Harlequins are expected to beat the young Wyverns side but it will be a close call.
In reserve grade Wyverns are already in the final, with Scots and the combined team battling it out for the other grand final spot.

Saturday, 5.30pm: ladies' Saints v Harlequins;
7.30pm: men's Wyverns v Harlequins
