Hatching a plan to skip holiday queues at post office
CHRISTMAS is just around the corner and to help you fit in all those last minute jobs, Australia Post Warwick is opening its doors Saturdays.
Australia Post Warwick manager Jeff Clark said it was a first for the Rose City.
"We will be open on Saturdays until Christmas," he said.
"The shop will be open from 9am-1pm."
Mr Clark said there was a way for customers collecting parcels to avoid the queues.
"The hatch is open on weekdays and means you do not have to line up inside," he said.
The hatch is located on the side of the post office building near the PO boxes.
Mr Clark said they were doing everything they could to reduce the queues this Christmas.

December 16: 10.30am-2.30pm
December 17-19: 9am-5.30pm
December 20: 8am-midnight
December 21: 9am-6pm
December 22-23: 9am- 5pm
December 24: 9am-5.30pm
Christmas Day: Closed
Boxing Day: Closed
December 27: 9am-7.30pm
