Hats off to Killarney ladies auxiliary group

THE Killarney RSL Sub Branch Ladies Auxiliary were presented with the Partridge Shield Award Certificate by RSL Sub Branch president Jim Donjahn.

Mr Domjahn said the award presented each year to a ladies auxiliary group with the highest per capita contribution to a branch within the RSL association, western district Queensland.

Killarney RSL Ladies Auxiliary president Daphe Pullen was overwhelmed they were even judged on what they do for the sub branch.

Mrs Pullen said they were only a small group and each year would do some raffles and a cent sale.

Mr Domjahn thanked Daphe and her band of workers for the funds they raised each year for the sub branch and also for their work like the morning tea everyone enjoyed on Anzac Day.
