Police still searching for girl missing from Mount Coolum

UPDATE: Police are calling on a 14-year-old girl missing from Mt Coolum to return to her to home.

Karey Johnson was last seen on Thursday in Coolum Beach.

Officers said on Monday they were still looking for the girl.

Karey is described as being about 160cm tall, of slim build with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police hold concerns for her welfare due to her young age.

EARLIER: A 14-year-old girl has gone missing from the Mount Coolumn area.

She was last seen around Havana Road at Mount Coolumn Beach on Thursday morning.

She has not been seen by friends or family since and police are concerned because of her age.

She is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 160cms tall, of a slim build with brown hair and hazel eyes.
