ACCORDING to planning, environment and community services director Ken Harris, it is important those residents making a submission regarding the development, ensure it is "properly made".

To fit this description, a submission:

 

Must be received in the notification period, which ends at close of business, Friday, 16 September 2016;

Must be in writing. An email is considered to be in writing. This means that a telephone call or a discussion is not a properly made submission;

If not an email, it must be signed by each person making the submission;

 

Must state the name and address of each person or business making the submission;

Must be made to the assessment manager, in this case, Chief Executive Officer of Southern Downs Regional Council David Keenan.
